FIELD: gyro instrument engineering. SUBSTANCE: gyro horizon compass is mounted onto single three-step gyro. Gyro platform, onto which the gyro and accelerometers are placed, is connected with object through two-axial gimbal suspension. Route of the object is calculated analytically. Gyro compass has unit for analytical determination of vertical component of absolute angular velocity and unit for analytical determination of object route. EFFECT: simplified design; improved reliability; reduced weight and dimensions. 1 dwg
