FIELD: automation and computer engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has registers 2, 3 and 24, shift register 4, starting switch 5, flip-flop 6, OR gates 7 and 11, paraphase AND gates group 8, AND gate 9, encoder 10, comparison units 12 and 14, AND gates group 13, NOT-EQUAL paraphase gate 15, comparison gates groups 17 and 18, NOR gates 19 and 20, comparison gates 16, 21 and 22, delay gates group 23. Gates 16, 17, 21 and 22 detect single faults during device operations. Register 24 detects const-0 faults in gates 16, 17, 21 and 22. Reliability of operations is increased due to device design using paraphase logic. According to paraphase logic, logical zero is encoded as <01>, logical one as <10>, states <00> and <11> are prohibited for operations. EFFECT: increased reliability. 14 dwg
