FIELD: catalytic industry. SUBSTANCE: method for preparation of catalyst for deep oxidation of hydrocarbons includes stages of impregnation of catalyst carrier with aqueous solution of initial components, drying and calcination. First, catalyst carrier is mounted on gas distributing unit of article with conferring the required geometric shape on it. Then, it is impregnated in assembly by immersion into solution up to full evolving of air from unit. Drying is accomplished with radiating heat flow from catalytic heaters until steam discharge discontinues from the unit. Calcination is effected by travelling gas flame supplied to unit up to natural transition to flameless catalytic burning. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 dwg
