FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of catalytic chemistry, namely, to copper-manganese catalysts on a porous carrier, which can be used for the combustion of any type of fuel (coal, liquid and gaseous hydrocarbon fuel) and detoxification of flue gases. Catalyst according to the invention comprises a heat-resistant porous support coated with copper oxide and methylcyclopentadienyltricarbonyl manganese, with the following component ratio, by weight. %: copper oxide – 0.5–2.0; manganese methylcyclopentadienyltricarbonyl 1.0 to 3.0; carrier – the rest.
EFFECT: technical result consists in raising the combustion temperature of the fuel while reducing the amount of toxic substances (nitrogen oxides and carbon monoxide) in the waste gases of the combustion process of the fuel.
