SUBSTANCE: flexible envelopes of ship's side guard are sectionalized partially overlapping one another; they are secured on ship's side along her water- line and are provided with passages open towards aft extremity of ship. Each flexible envelope is sectionalized into two compartments by air chamber; above-mentioned holes are made in fore compartment of this envelope. Surface of each envelope is provided with macro- and micro-ridges. Center section of each envelope is most distant from corresponding side of ship. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 4 cl, 3 dwg
