FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: boom consists of separate sections interconnected in sequence by make-and -break joints. Boom section contains air elastic membrane 1, several water filled elastic membranes 3 and skirt 2. Air 1 and water filled 3 elastic membranes are made from waterproof material. Skirt 2 is made as a width from elastic wetted material and is attached to air membrane 1 by permanent connection. There are cover plates on one of side of skirt 2 width under air membrane 1. Cover plates form vertical cylindrical containers 3 along the whole height of skirt 2 width. In their lower part vertical containers 3 have open lower base and are connected to aqueous medium of shielded water area. There are loops 4 on air membrane 1 in upper part of each section. Air membrane 1 is provided with non-return-stop valve 5 for supply of air and non-return-stop valve 6 for air outlet from membrane.
EFFECT: simplifying structure of the boom, providing fire safety of overwater surface of air membrane, vertical stability of underwater part of boom.
