ALL-PURPOSE FIGHTING VEHICLE Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: armored fighting vehicles. SUBSTANCE: all-purpose fighting vehicle has hull divided by inclined sheets into rocket, engine-and-transmission and assault compartment. Lower part can be made in form of fuel tank. Rocket compartment is located between inclined armour plate and sheet arranged in parallel to armour plate. Rockets are placed in tubular guides secured in detachable holder. Turret with gun armament and loading magazine is arranged over engine-and-transmission compartment. Turret rotates around fixed cone being part of body and included into Turret volume. Cover with hatches for driver, commander and gun layer is secured on cone. Lower part of turret is covered by horizontal sheet projecting beyond the turret outlines in front and protecting rocket compartment from top. All-purpose fighting vehicle has running gear. Loading magazine can be made double row for accommodating complete rounds and feed regulator. When necessary, radar folding antenna can be arranged in tail part of turret Assault compartment has hinged hatch covers with ports.
