FIELD: load lifting facilities. SUBSTANCE: screw jack has load-bearing body, load lifting member coupled with screw which is connected by plain portion through thrust bearing with load-bearing body. Jack has also screw turning mechanism with planetary drive whose carrier is rigidly coupled with screw, epicyclic wheel is coupled with load- bearing structure and central wheel has axial hole accommodating plain part of screw. Load-bearing member has projection arranged in longitudinal slot of load-bearing body. Central wheel is rigidly connected with toothed drive wheel, toothed drive being connected with operating handle by means of ratchet mechanism. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of operation. 2 dwg
