FIELD: power engineering. SUBSTANCE: solar collector has heat-absorbing element 1, transparent upper coating 2, heat-insulated bottom 3 and side walls 4 with channels 5 filled with liquid. When intermittent solar radiation supply occurs, channels 5 are filled with liquid through openings 6 to increase heat-capacitance of solar collector and change heating-cooling dynamics. As a result switch on - switch off frequency providing proper circulation of liquid through solar collector is decreased and heat-carrier temperature at heat-absorbing element output is equalized. Channels 5 are also filled with liquid in case wind load is intensified. Increased weight of solar collector increase its resistance against wind actions. EFFECT: increased efficiency by reduced number of switch on-switch off operations. 2 dwg
