FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to solar technology and is intended for round-the-clock heating of air to a predetermined temperature with solar energy in order to use it in domestic conditions, for example, in drying installations or for heating premises. Solar air heater contains a heat-insulated casing with open lower and upper ends, glazing, and a heat-receiving panel, which is simultaneously and a heat accumulator made in the form of horizontally arranged tubular sealed containers filled with a phase transition heat accumulating composition and connected to each other by heat transfer ribs. Heat carrier passing over the gaps specially left for free passage along the upper and lower sides of the heat-receiving panel produces heat removal directly from the entire outer surface of the heat accumulator.
EFFECT: technical result consists in the constant maintenance of a constant temperature of heated air, which is provided by a heat accumulator.
