FIELD: solar engineering; solar energy collectors for hot-water supply to and heating of domestic and industrial structures.
SUBSTANCE: proposed solar collector has sheet-and-tube heat-absorbing panel formed by separate parallel members. Separate member of heat-absorbing panel is made in the form of part shaped in cross-section as one-piece closed loop forming coolant passing tube and space filled with heat-accumulating material. External surface whereon sun rays are incident functions as heat-absorbing surface and has external longitudinal ribs on two longitudinal sides. Rib surfaces are parallel to heat-absorbing surface and are spaced apart to form certain clearance in-between. Various architectural forms of structures can be attained due to ability of easily changing mechanical design of separate members of solar collector.
EFFECT: facilitated manufacture, reduced load on structures, reduced volume of heat-accumulating facilities.
