FIELD: thermal engineering. SUBSTANCE: heat exchanger has perforated horizontal tube 4 and sheet 2 secured to it and functioning as sprayed heat transfer surface. Heat exchanger has also header 1 with longitudinal calibrated slit in its bottom part; header is arranged so that it embraces tube 4; sheet 2 is placed in slit. Liquid flowing from perforated tube 4 is sprayed against inner surface of header 1 and discharged in the form of thin film through slit over sheet 2 into chute 3 fastened at its bottom part.
