FIELD: power engineering. SUBSTANCE: heat exchanger case accommodates horizontal rows of supporting rods 3 and tensioning rods 5, with sheet 7 placed in combination slits between them. Sheet 7 is tensioned in zigzag manner between mentioned rods. Each supporting rod 3 is of U-section type; all supporting rods 3 are arranged on same level. Rods 3 carry checker 10 and liquid feeder 11 is mounted above the latter. Liquid flows through checker 10 to sheet 7 and further goes to pan 17. Case walls are immersed in liquid contained in pan to form water seal. Sheet 7 is perforated. EFFECT: improved design. 3 cl, 3 dwg
