FIELD: tire industry. SUBSTANCE: polyester cord after impregnation with latex-resorcinformaldehyde composition is heat treated to residual moisture content of 0.5-0.7%. Heat treatment is carried out at temperature of 150-170 C with load of 8-20 mN/tex. The other method includes heat treatment at 150-170 C with load of 8-20 mN/tex for 150-180 s and then, at 180-200 C with load of 20-25 mN/tex for 8-25 s and with the same temperature and time with load of 8-20 mN/tex.
