FIELD: devices for magnetic recording. SUBSTANCE: when tape recorder is switched to any operation mode, flywheel with driven wheel of driving shaft is starting its rotation. Said flywheel transmits rotation to switching wheel. This results in reciprocal motion of rocker head. Said rocker is shaped as cam. Pin of position gauge is connected to cassette holder through friction gear. This pi determines tape movement or stop. When magnetic tape stops, rest area of cam-shaped rocker engages said pin which is located on path of rocker. Rocker is pressing pin and causes motion of arm of turning lever. Another arm of turning lever engages locking plate of control unit. EFFECT: simplified design, increased reliability in different operating modes, for example in motion. 2 cl, 6 dwg
