FIELD: fish breeding. SUBSTANCE: method involves creating a gas interlayer at an installation of wintering fish basin in a pressuretight volume by feeding-in gas under pressure. Gas is replenished periodically as it is gradually used up by fish, at least once every 1-3 days. The volume of gas interlayer is not under 1 cu.m. The air interlayer in the fish basins located near water surface should be made between the water and ice layer while in the basins installed deep in the water it is practicably that the air layer be created in a bell positioned inside the basin. EFFECT: higher fish survival rate with simultaneous reduction of labor and material requirements. 3 cl, 2 dwg
