FIELD: production of ceramic materials. SUBSTANCE: method involves preparation of feedstock and coke. The latter is mixed in advance with 30-95 wt. -% of graphite-containing material 25x25 mm in size. Slag is melted at 1350-1400 C and silicate melt is converted into fibers after holding said slag at this temperature for 6 min. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 tbl
