FIELD: building industry, particularly to produce rock wool of ash-and-slag heat-electric generating plant waste with the use of plasma technology.
SUBSTANCE: rock wool melt is obtained in single stage in combined plasma reactor. Rotary electric arch is generated in cross-section of plasma reactor chamber and full 1400-1600 K temperature profile is obtained in the chamber. Solid ash-and-slag heat-electric generating plant waste is melted with the use of rod graphite cathode and cylindrical graphite anode, which is also used as melting pot for ash melting. The plant also has electromagnetic coil. The melted waste is accumulated in lower reactor part and is supplied to rotary cap via chute. Rock wool fibers are spun out by centrifugal blown method along with following fiber conveyance to deposition chamber.
EFFECT: possibility to utilize ash from ash disposal area, reduced risk of sub-oxidized component blowout; reduced time of waste melting.
