SPECIMEN BENDING TEST SET Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

FIELD: tests of specimens for strength. SUBSTANCE: test set has supports 2 and 3 with rollers 5 for specimen 4, rod 6, rack 12, wheels 7 and 8, retainers 10 and 11 and wheel turn drive 9. At oscillations of pendulum with retainer 10 engaged, rack 12 with rollers 5 makes turns; with retainer 10 engaged and retainer 10 disengaged, rack 12 moves along specimen 4 together with rollers 5. This test set may be used for testing the specimens and articles made of various materials. EFFECT: extended functional capabilities due to possibility of conducting the tests both at movable and fixed points of application of load to specimen surface. 1 dwg
