FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: arc chute includes main current leading and arcing contacts. Mobile contacts are integrated by common base. Chute also and insert manufactured from gas generating material, reservoir vessel for gases communicating by means of hole with arc chuting duct. For prevention of breakdowns of electric insulation through exhaust ionized gases main contact is fabricated in the form of cylindrical pipe embracing insert in process of travel up to moment of control of electric arc. In process of current interruption exhaust ionized gases egress through holes in common base beyond limits safety with regard to electric breakdown. EFFECT: enhanced disconnect on capability. 1 dwg
