FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves seeding three or four crops in one row, with each crop having predetermined seed depth; making arced channels in soil; seeding seeds into channels and pressing them into soil by widening arced channels. Apparatus has runner-type openers provided with pairs of soil deforming members positioned at sides of openers at different depth. Front pair of deforming members are made hollow. Cavity defined between front pair of deforming members is communicated with respective seed channel made in runner. Second pair of deforming members have bases of larger size. Each opener is connected with respective seed box or with sections of seed boxes of respective seeding unit. Number of seeding units corresponds to the number of farm crops, which are simultaneously sown into arced channels. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 3 cl, 23 dwg
