FLOATING ARTIFICIAL BAIT FOR AMATEUR FISHING Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

Abstract RU 2056750 C1

FIELD: amateur and sports fishing. SUBSTANCE: floating bait has body whose color and shape imitate small live fish, metal plate (play propeller) built into body nose portion and bent at angle of 45 degrees relative to body horizontal axis, loops for fastening triple hooks and finishing line. Center of gravity of bait body is displaced into nose portion, as a result, bait occupies vertical position in static state, with 2/3 rds of its length being in water, while tail portion (1/3rd) is above water surface showing the angler place of its location. With fishing line pulled, bait goes down and occupies horizontal position simultaneously playing to simulate live fish. When pulling of fishing line is stopped, bait floats up and occupies vertical position again. When pulling fishing line again, bait plays again. EFFECT: increased catch, improved reliability. 5 dwg
