FIELD: petrochemical and chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: method provides, that catalytic and regeneration blocks sluice apparatuses are permanently open for passing of continuously moving catalyst mass. Catalyst pipeline of regeneration block, that links slice apparatus with feeder, is additionally fed with inert gas, that moves in opposite to catalyst movement direction. In the case amount of inert gas consumption upper limit is determined by formula , with Q is volumetric usage of gas under working conditions m/s; U is speed of layer flow m/s; G is catalyst mass usage, kg/c; G0 is catalyst mass usage during absence of inert gas, kg/c; "d" is inner diameter of catalyst pipeline.
