FIELD: welding and cutting of metallic constructions. SUBSTANCE: plasma torch has the nozzle 7, on lateral cylindrical surface of which at a side of its non-working end, turned towards the inner insulation sleeve 5, an abutment is provided. An end of that abutment is in contact with an end of the sleeve 5; a lateral surface of the abutment and a surface of the electrode holder 3 are mounted in contact with an inner surface of the insulation sleeve 5. The electrode holder 3 with the electrode 4 and the nozzle 7 are mounted relative to the same surface of the sleeve 5 in order to increase their coaxiality for providing an enhanced cutting quality and an increased service life of the nozzle and the electrode. The electrode 4 and the nozzle 7 may be made of composition tungsten-copper alloy with copper content, being equal to 12-15% vol. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of cutting process. 5 cl, 1 dwg
