FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method of making drive armored belts of polymeric material implies winding of armoring cord on rotating profile cylindrical mold. Polymeric material is fed to gap formed by rotating mold and pressing band. Then polymerization of obtained rolled-up stock and cutting it into belts of given width are carried out. Polyurethane with viscosity 2000-2500 p at temperature 20 ± 5 C is used as polymeric material. The frequency of mold rotation is chosen from relationship 1,575/D ≅ f ≅ 2,625/D, where f - frequency of mold rotation, turns/min D - outer diameter of mold, m. EFFECT: facilitated manufacture. 1 dwg
