FIELD: printing industry. SUBSTANCE: automatic feeder made in form of buffer storage has magazine 5 to receive vertically piled sheets with base 8 which leaves free one edge strip, of pile. Endless belt 12 moves along this edge strip of pile. Hinge-mounted on endless belt are separating members 13 with curved suck-in surface, remote holders being installed behind separating members. Edge strip of lowest sheet of pile is bent downward relative to pile, is sucked-in by curved suck-in surface and is taken by remote holders which support the rest of pile. After passing of separating member past edge strip, the edge strip bent downwards relative to pile comes in contact with lower sides of remote holders. Endless belt 12 stops for a moment in this position and edge strip is brought by adjustable suck-in heads 20 to conveyor 24. Grips 25 of conveyor extract the lowest sheet from under the pile and move it aside. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of operation. 15 cl, 25 dwg
