FIELD: printing arts. SUBSTANCE: metallographic printing machine has three machine sections I, II and III. On the whole, mounted on first section I are impression cylinder 1 and plate cylinder 2; on second section II - stencil rollers 10 and ink feed systems 11, and on third section III - drum collecting ink feed roller 8. Third section III moves thus mush that it can be removed from the place between the first and second sections and placed in an inoperative position so that it becomes possible to bring second section II to first section I for completing the machine for metallographic printing with direct inking. Thus, a convertible machine for metallographic printing is completed on which in the first working position, when all three sections take its working position, collecting metallographic printing is carried out, and in the other working position with employment of first I and second II sections only - direct metallographic printing.
