FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: transportation cylinder 1 for sheets 3 to be checked has shaft 2 with sheet grips and at least one detector 4. Calibration plate 6 is provided near detector 4. Calibration plate is installed for movement relative to surface of cylinder 1 and is connected with mechanism 5 which provides its periodical lifting at moment of passage of grips of shaft 2. It has also special device for adjusting distance between plate 6 and cylinder 1 in working position. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of checking. 10 cl, 2 dwg
