FIELD: as drug. SUBSTANCE: the product: 2,6-dimethyl-3- 5-di(carbomethoxy-4-(2-nitrophenyl)-1,4-dihydropyridine; the yield about 80%, mp 172 C. Reagent 1: 2- nitrobenzaldehyde. Reagent 2 acetoacetic methyl ester. Reagent 3: ammonia. Reaction conditions: at 76-81 C for 5-8 hr in lower alkyl alcohol at molar ratio of components of 1:(2.5-3.2):(3.4-3.9), respectively. The recovery of the desired product and purificaiton are carried out when illuminated with red light source. EFFECT: more efficient preparation.
