FIELD: medicinal virology. SUBSTANCE: method involves the use of triazide - (25S)-5α=3β, 22a, 26-triol-26-O-b-D-glucopyranoside (tomatoendo) at final concentration 0.005% and above for inactivation of rotaviruses. Inactivation is carried out by addition of tomatoside solution at indicated concentration to virus-containing material. Then mixture is kept at the room temperature for 1 hr and more. Manifestation of antiviral agent effect is detected by infectivity virus assay on the cultured cells. EFFECT: enhanced inactivation of viruses. 3 tbl
