FIELD: manufacture of knitting machines for knitting rib knit by double-knit hand machines. SUBSTANCE: accessory is attached to machine support by means of two detachable devices. Each device consists of four plates adjacent to one another. Extreme plates are connected correspondingly to accessory body and to machine support. Middle plates, due to their bending, allow the accessory to move parallel to machine needle holder through 15 cm and more to increase the number of possible knits and patterns. Accessory is installed for vertical motion to regulate the distance between needles of accessory to machine. Rigid design of accessory is ensured in body end faces by metal inserts.
