FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: fibre-optics transducers are not used for measurement of position of object which is located at large distance from recording equipment. One end of fibre-optic-light conduit is optically linked with optical radiation source and photodetector through beam-splitting mirror and lens. Sensitive element is made in form of fibre-optic laser optically connected with second end of fibre-optic-light conduit and formed by section of activated fibre-optic-light conduit and two flat mirrors which is singlemode in length of wave of generation; one flat mirror is dichroic; it is located at end of activated fibre-optic-light conduit connected with section of fibre light conduit; other flat mirror is located at second end of fibre-light conduit and is optically connected with the latter through lens; this mirror is mounted perpendicularly to optical axis of activated fibre-light conduit for reciprocating along above-mentioned optical axis which makes it possible to determine position of object located at large distance (more than 100 m) from recording equipment.
