FIELD: optical data processing; intelligent computer vision systems. SUBSTANCE: optical correlator designed for real-time operation has optical devices generating images of investigated and reference objects, device for spatial integration of optical images of investigated and reference objects, and device for converting results of optical integration into electric signal, all optically coupled along light beam path. Device for spatial integration of optical images of investigated and reference objects and device for converting results of optical integration into electric signals are made in the form of light-controlled photodetectors each incorporating translucent current-collecting electrodes, semiconductor p-n chip on one of its working surfaces, and nano-dimensional insulation layer on opposite working surface of mentioned chip.
