FIELD: riding toy. SUBSTANCE: mechanism uses front and back legs made in the form of pairs of circle sectors connected by a common pivot and capable of engagement of each other. The arches of the leg bearing surfaces serve as arches of the circle sectors; the arches of the circle sectors of the front leg have a large central angle like the arches of the circle sectors of the back leg; the radii of arches of the circle sectors of the front and back legs are equal and differ by a small value. The legs pivot is arranged between the centers of the front and back circle sectors. A saddle is attached to the front leg, it is positioned on the opposite side of the pivot relative to the main mass of the front leg. At rider's rocking the mechanism rolls over the bearing surface on the front and back legs passing a path equal to the sum of the arches of the circle sectors through which the leg sectors are turning.
