FIELD: space engineering. SUBSTANCE: descent vehicle has thermal protective casing 1 made in form of upper part 2 and lower part 3 connected together; arranged in casing is landing vehicle container 4 with specific equipment 5 to which torus-shaped alighting gear 18 is connected underneath; connected to it at the top is cylindrical compartment 12 with parachute system. Container consists of upper part 6 and lower part 7 secured on inner web I-shaped main frame 9; main frame 9 is also connected with load-bearing frame holding the equipment and truss 11 linked with compartment 12. Secured on outer webs of frame 9 are upper part 2 and lower part 3 of thermal protective casing 1; sealed connectors of cable system of equipment are arranged in walls of this frame. Alighting gear 18 is made in form of two inflatable envelopes made of flexible material and arranged one in other; these envelopes are provided with inflatation and gas discharge systems. Descent vehicle is provided with additional torus-shaped flexible alighting gear 21 located in upper portion of vehicle symmetrically relative to main alighting gear 18.
