FIELD: materials handling. SUBSTANCE: device has rod with shaped head and gripping mechanism made in form of two plates arranged parallel to each other. Plates are coupled on edges by axles which have cams in form of disk and cylinder. Upper plate has central hole accommodating a bell. Each disk has slot and recess, and each cylinder has toothed rim in lower part. Toothed rim engages with gear installed on lower plate. Shaped head of rod is made in form of hemisphere. It can be made in form of upper and lower spherical surfaces. If head of rod is made with two spherical surfaces, mounted on rod is disk with recess corresponding to upper spherical head. To improve centering of device in bell, rod is made with spherical thickening. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 5 cl, 5 dwg
