FIELD: materials handling facilities; gripping of loopless articles with longitudinal planes. SUBSTANCE: load-gripping device consists of long carrying member in form of pipe and loop secured on member with displacement from gravity center of carrying member to form different length arms. Support cover in form of pair of tubular members is secured on one arm, and cover in form of closed segment with contact members is secured on their arm. Pipe has rigidly members connected to pipe and lifting loop. When mounting, device is driven into space of article first by longer end, driving it to stop, and then by shorter end. Design of support covers precludes transmission of efforts to weak zone of article web in space. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of slinging. 6 cl, 11 dwg ]
