FIELD: manufacture of finely dispersed sulfur. SUBSTANCE: the agent for vulcanization of rubbers comprises powder additive selected from the group consisting of 0.1-2.0 % silicon oxide, titanium oxide, perlite, white black, talc, diatomite, tripoli earth, kaolin clay, and the finely dispersed sulfur balance. Prior to the grinding operation, water-repellent powder of silicon oxide, titanium oxide or kaolin clay are added to sulfur, and the grinding operation is a carried out in jet, rotor or ball mill to particle size of the product of not greater than 0.14 mm for 10-30 minutes. The properties of the agent are as follows: no adhesion to inner surfaces of the equipment, no caking during storage, highly efficient vulcanization process. EFFECT: improved properties of the agent. 14 cl, 1 tbl
