MANHOLE Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

FIELD: civil engineering. SUBSTANCE: manhole includes body with a ledge, lid, press-in mechanism, and two-arm lever with one end interacted to lower end surface of press-in mechanism axle. Upper end surface of press-in mechanism is placed at the same level with lid surface. A hole is originated in the body. Additional rotary axle is installed in the hole parallel to press-in mechanism axle. One end of the additional axle is rigidly connected to the lid. Another end is provided with stop ring and kinematically related to another lever end hinged to the body with lever travel exceeding lid thickness. EFFECT: improved convenience when using, and simplified design. 5 dwg
