FIELD: oil production. SUBSTANCE: wells over selected section of completely vacated deposit are so arranged that they are positioned in agreement with ray system. Negative electrode is lowered down central well and is set at level of bottom of productive pool. Positive electrodes are installed into wells placed radially at level of pool roof. Action on pool is conducted by supply of D.C. power. As result acceleration of process of segregation takes place, i.e. particles of water move into lower part of pool towards negative electrodes and drops of oil - to positive ones. Process is checked by periodic disconnection of one of production wells and examination of its products to find content of oil and water. EFFECT: increased efficiency of process.
