FIELD: oil production. SUBSTANCE: this process of exploitation of oil field consists in driving of oil from pool by injection of water from water-bearing horizon with temperature higher than temperature of pool into it, in extraction of oil onto surface with the aid of wells. Absorbing horizon having temperature not below that of oil pool is used in the capacity of water-bearing horizon. Filtration ducts of big diameter are selectively opened in it and it is pumped with water for flooding of pool in advance which is kept there till it acquires temperature of pool. Then water is pumped away together with pool water through water-discharge wells in which same filtration ducts are open.
