FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: engine has combustion chamber 1 which operates in optimal condition independent of the speed of rotation of crankshaft 18. One of the spherical combustion chambers provides operation of four pistons 27 with two crankshafts. A natural gas is used as a fuel. The gas is in the vessel made of a fiber glass cloth and is under the pressure of up to 200 kg/cm2. The compressed air from a compressor is fed together with the natural gas to the combustion chamber. Combustion chamber 1 is spherical and is at the center of the head with ring chambers for compressed air 4 and natural gas 3. The head is enclosed with a heat insulating space. Combustion chamber 1 is connected with chambers 3,4 through radial pipes 6. The combustion chamber has a heat-inertia shell. A heat insulation layer is interposed between the shell and head. Nozzle 10 for injecting water to the combustion chamber is mounted at the top part of the combustion chamber. Spark plugs 9 are interposed between openings for suppling air to the combustion chamber and compressed air. Crankshafts 18 are parallel to each other inside the cylinder bank. The cranks of the crankshafts are at the right angle to each other. Opposite the cranks are counterweights 30. Four cylinders 16 of the cylinder bank are coupled with the combustion chamber through gas ducts 15. The gas duct is connected alternatively by cylindrical insert 13. A step electric motor rotates the insert synchronously with crank shafts 18. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 4 cl, 7 dwg
