FIELD: amateur and sports fishing. SUBSTANCE: fishing tackle has housing with space for shaftless spool, adjustable spool brake with screw and stick. Space for spool in housing is made through and is limited at one side by shoulders. Spool adjustable brake has leaf spring coupled with screw and arranged outside the housing. Spring is made for engagement with outer side of shoulders at least in three points. Radial scale marks are made on leaf spring and cursor mark on screw head. Cursor mark is to be aligned with scale mark as necessary. Spool can be made with central splined hole, and screw, accordingly, with splines. Leaf spring is made for pressing to spool by means of nut with cursor mark. Screw head can be provided with pins. Tackle has turnable release device with inclined and horizontal planes for engagement with pins at turning. Release device is located between screw head and spool.
