FIELD: uncoiling of elongated material, for example prepreg bands. SUBSTANCE: apparatus for uncoiling an elongated material is provided by a mechanism for raising a bobbin onto an axle of its rotation. The mechanism includes a longitudinally retractable cone flange and a spring-loaded pusher with a handle. The cone flange is mounted coaxially with a basic flange at other side of the bobbin on a housing of the apparatus. The housing is in the form of a seat with soft supporting surfaces for free reception of the bobbin. The cone flange is connected with the spring-loaded pusher, having the handle. The handle is provided by stoppers for fixing its position. The basic flange includes a spring-loaded carrier and a cone inlet portion. EFFECT: enhanced structure of the apparatus. 1 cl, 5 dwg
