FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: soda-potash mother solution is evaporated and sodium carbonate is isolated from it. Then sodium sulfate or its mixture with sodium carbonate are added into it. Conversion of sodium sulfate is carried out at 35-40 C till molar portion of potassium hydroxide decreases to 45-50 % of total alkali content.
