FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention can be used when reprocessing soda-potash solution, obtained from low-potassium nephelinic ore. In the method of reprocessing soda-potash solution, the initial soda-potash solution is concentrated by evaporation. Further evaporation is done with extraction of a residue of pure monohydrate soda. Potassium sulphate is extracted from the mother solution of monohydrate soda. A mother solution of unhydrous soda is added to it. The molar index of potassium in the mixed solution is brought to 52-54%. A solution of unhydrous soda is separated from the mother solution, contaminated with potash, potassium sulphate and chloride impurities, the coarse fraction of the obtained unhydrous soda is recrystallised, obtaining pure monohydrate soda. The fine fraction of unhydrous soda, re-pulped with the initial soda-potash solution is channelled to process cycles of aluminous production as circulating soda.
EFFECT: reduced loss of potassium alkali in process cycles in aluminous and soda production, as well as operational and energy expenditure in the process cycle of soda production.
