FIELD: non- ferrous metallurgy, more particularly soda-potash solutions. SUBSTANCE: claimed method comprises concentrating evaporation of original solution, mixing of evaporated solution with circulating mother liquor of carbonate soda, conversion of sodium sulfate contained in said solution into potassium sulfate at concentration of the alkali to be titrated in mixed solution of 275+-5 g/l calculated for Na2O with dosed amount of mixed solution for conversion of sodium sulfate to maintain molar index of potassium at 51+1% from sum of alkalis in potassium sulfate crystallization stage at 35-40 C, soda is subsequently separated from mother liquor after recovery of potassium sulfate by evaporation to density of 1.49- 0.01 kg/l. The claimed method makes it possible to process soda-potash solutions molar index of potassium alkali of which exceeds 65-70%. EFFECT: more efficient preparation method. 2 cl, 4 dwg, 2 ex
