SUBSTANCE: household filter for water purification has filtering member made in the form of cylinder, outer surface of which is made in the form of in series conjugated cones and cylindrical rim, length of which is 1/8 - 1/10 of cylinder length and is ended with protruding rounding of 0.5 mm radius. Inner conical surface of cylinder is conjugated with bottom of 0.5 - 1.0 mm radius and has mean to be connected to water supply tab. Production method provides for usage as initial material of clay powder with definite size of particles, pressing and calcination. Apparatus for filtering member production has conical casing, form-making punch with elastic material cover and elastic die, that is made with variable taper and that ends with cylindrical part.
