FIELD: porous ceramic materials production. SUBSTANCE: ceramic filtering member has rough porous base and applied on it fine porous membrane, that is made in the form of rigid casing of sintered to each other and with base inorganic fibres. Mono- or polycrystal fibres of oxides or carbides with diameter of 0.05 - 5.0 mcm and ratio of fibre length (l) to its diameter d as 5 : 150 are used. Produced filtering member has open porosity - 50 - 95 % , pores average diameter - 0.1 - 0.5 mcm and productivity by water - 5000-15000 l/m2·h·bar.
