FIELD: textile industry, manufacture of non-woven materials by electroflocculating. SUBSTANCE: device for cutting of fibre bundle uses a bundle feed unit and two supporting plates located above and under two gripping plates and coupled to each other by two pairs of levers, carrying slides at the ends that are positioned in slots of the supporting plates. The supporting and gripping plates are installed for simultaneous reciprocating motion in the housing by means of a drive eccentric mounted for engagement with the lower supporting plate. Located in the zone of bundle cutting is a spring-loaded strip used to press the bundle to the fixed supporting strip coupled to a guillotine-shaped cutting member connected to the carriage.
